Aura Vedic Pure Nourishing Night Repair Moisturising Lotion Review and Why I Love It
One of the most important skin care products is moisturiser, it is something everyone should use irrespective of their skin type. I am blessed with super- sensitive, acne-prone, and dehydrated skin. So, the first thing I look in for a moisturiser is that it does not break me out or clog pores meanwhile providing kick-ass moisture.

Price-
INR 350/- for 100gms ( I bought it for INR 298/- from Purplle)
Ingredients List-
Extracts of Almond Oil, Grapeseed, Neroli oil, Kokum Butter, Mango Butter, Beeswax, Sunflower, Olive oil,Oilivem 1000, Oilwax, Phenoxyethanol, Purified Water.
Ingredients Analysis-
Almond Oil-
It is great for moisturing skin , it acts as an emollient and due to its vitamin e content it also has antioxidant properties.
Grapseeed Oil-
It is very light oil due to high content of linoleic acid, which helps to unclog pores.
Neroli oil-
Neroli is an essential oil having powerful skin regenerative properties, thus helpful for scars, marks and acne.
Kokum Butter-
A white colored butter that is very well known for its anti- inflammatory properties, an excellent treatment for dry skin.
Mango Butter-
Loaded with Vitamin e , very nourishing, helps in treating dry patches, the best thing about butters is that they act as both emollient and occlusives.
Beeswax-
Another great occlusive ingredient, it is produced by honeybees, and my favorite product in the whole list because it also acts a humentant i.e. it draws water molecules from the environment to the skin. Thus, providing hydration to skin.
Phenoxyethanol-
Used as Preservative.
My Experience with Aura Vedic Pure Nourishing Night Repair Moisturising Lotion-
When I started using this my skin was super dry and dehydrated as I have been using Retinoid to treat my acne scars , which makes skin utterly dry. I had several dry patches on my cheeks and my nose nose was almost inflammed. I was impressed with the ingredients list of this product so I bought this with high hopes. Labelled as lotion but its actually a cream and I only needed a small amount owing to the texture and spreadability. It doesn`t feel heavy on my skin and gets easily absorbed.
Just from the first usage my skin felt so soft, supple and refreshed after many days. After 2 days my dry patches we completely gone and my inflammed rose nose looked healthy and supple in 5-6 days. On continuos usage my skin feels so baby soft. The best thing- No acne or clogged pores after using this product. So, I think it is suitable for all skin types. But due to the high content of heavy moisturisers and butters I would never use this without regular exfoliation and even after that a very small amount, as I was already using retinoid I did not use a seperate product for exfoliation. Dry skin beauties can use this abundantly.
I really wish this product came in a tube packaging rather than tub for hygiene purpose and also that it contained more humectants such as glycerine. But I do use a seperate hydrating product so it`s not a big issue for me.If you are someone who breaks out after using some silicones then this has great occlusives.
Do not use this product if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients in it.
